An Account Of The Happenings At Wretched Knob is Barry Uhl’s first fully cross-disciplinary project and the manifestation of an idea seven years in the making. With a nod to everything from baroque-pop to XTC and the classical-carnival fringe, Wretched Knob is a series of stories, illustrations, and a soundtrack; meant to be absorbed as one piece.

As both a finish and a start, a closing and opening scene simultaneous; An Account Of The Happenings At Wretched Knob is, in a sense, a reissue that starts the catalog of Uhl’s body of work. Birthed after the discovery of Amphigorey and rife with a wide spectrum of musical and literary influence, this project was fully realized and completed over the course of 2013, released this past spring, and is available now for purchase.
