An Account Of The Happenings At Wretched Knob is Barry Uhl’s first fully cross-disciplinary project and the manifestation of an idea seven years in the making. With a nod to everything from baroque-pop to XTC and the classical-carnival fringe, Wretched Knob is a series of stories, illustrations, and a soundtrack; meant to be absorbed as one piece.

As both a finish and a start, a closing and opening scene simultaneous; An Account Of The Happenings At Wretched Knob is, in a sense, a reissue that starts the catalog of Uhl’s body of work. Birthed after the discovery of Amphigorey and rife with a wide spectrum of musical and literary influence, this project was fully realized and completed over the course of 2013, released in the spring of 2014, and is available now for purchase.
